Mike Lunt, G8ALD, 5th January 2021
It’s with great sadness that I have to inform you of the passing of the South Lancs Amateur Radio Club chairman Mike Lunt, G8ALD. He passed on 5 January 2021 after battling illness for some time.
Mike was born in 1943, and was licensed since 1967. He was ex Royal Signals, Home Office Director of Telecoms and worked for various computer security contractors. There was nothing he didn’t know about radio communications and will be a sad loss to not only the club, but the hobby.
