Denis H Clements, RS14170 (SK), before his WWII demob

Denis H Clements, RS14170, passed away on the 16th of August 2016. He was very proud of his RSGB Membership, having joined in 1946.  In his last few years Den spent more time on his iPad than a radio set, but remained a great fan of radio.

Denis was an electrical engineer all his life. His job included building, rebuilding and testing engines at Cromptons and Marconi, both in Chelmsford.  His home building was more focused on radio matters and he was a keen home constructor. The photos show some of the equipment he built shortly after being demobbed from the RAF in 1948.
