VP8RAF/100 will be on the air to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the World War One Battle of the Falklands that took place on 8th December 1914. The station should be active from the 4th to 12th December. Other Falkland Island stations will be active until 15th December 2014 as part of the commemorations. Check out QRZ.com for the full details. The December predictions indicate that conditions should be fairly reliable on 40m from around 2200 to 0600UTC.

WW1USA will be on the air on 27th and 28th December to commemorate the Christmas Truce of 1914. Details are on QRZ.com.

K9C will be on the air on 13 December from 1600 to 2200UTC from Rudolph in Wisconsin, USA. There is a special Rudolph QSL and certificate available. See www.QRZ.com/db/kc9pg

Pentland Firth Radio Hams will be running GM14YOTA from Thurso Sea Cadet Corps, Thurso, on Wednesday 10th December from 7pm.
