GB3PY turns 40

The UHF repeater GB3PY turns 40-years-old in March and to celebrate this anniversary of the first ever UHF voice repeater in the UK being licensed, GB3PY will be using the callsign GB40PY for the rest of the year, with immediate effect.

Ofcom have issued an NoV and Cambridgeshire Repeater Group will be running a number of events to commemorate the anniversary of PY’s “birth”.
