Special callsigns for Homecoming Scotland

| January 17, 2014

Homecoming Scotland is a programme of events and activities throughout 2014 to showcase all that’s great about Scotland. Ofcom has announced that it will allow radio amateurs based in Scotland to apply for a special Regional Secondary Locator to help them take part in the Homecoming. The Notice of Variation will allow the inclusion of A for Alba in their callsigns instead of M. Amateur radio licensees whose main station address is in Scotland may apply for a NoV by visiting www.rsgb.org/homescotland. The NoV is valid from Burns Night, 25th January, to St Andrews Day, 30th November 2014.
