DX News – 13 September 2015

A group of UK operators will be activating Niue island as E6GG from 16 to 29 September. Don, G3BJ, Chris, G3SVL, Nigel, G3TXF, David, G3WGN, Mike, G3WPH and Hilary, G4JKS will be using four Elecraft stations with linear amplifiers on 160-10 metres, 24/7, from a cliff-edge location on the North of Niue. They will pay particular attention to the European openings and hope to work a lot of UK stations. Between 21 September and 3 October, Doug, W6HB/E51DLD will be operating holiday style from Rarotonga, IOTA OC-013. He is also bringing a rotator and parts to repair the antennas of E50V. Hopefully Victor, E50V/E51CG will be back on the air by the beginning of October, bringing the number of active residents up to four operators.

Members of the Black Country DX and Contest Club will be on Fair Isle until 15 September. They will use the callsign MS0OXE. The IOTA reference for this DXpedition is EU-012 and the QSL Manager is M0URX.

Randy, K5SL will be operating holiday style from the Bahamas until 18 September. Callsign is C6ASL and he will concentrate on the WARC bands. QSL to his home call.

Sam, F6AML is back on Mayotte Island in the Indian Ocean. He is reactivating his TX6A callsign. QSL to his home call.

Ken, LA7GIA will be operating from the Comoros from 14 to 23 September. He has been issued with the callsign D67GIA. He asks that any QSL requests are sent directly to his Norwegian address. His logs will be uploaded to Logbook of The World after the expedition.
