This weekend sees the CQWW WPX CW 48 hour contest end at 2359UTC today, the 31st. Using all of the HF contest bands, CW only, RST and serial number form the exchange.

Today, the 31st, also sees the UK Microwave Group contest take place from 0600 to 1800UTC. Using the 5.7 to 10GHz bands, the exchange is RST plus serial number and Locator.

On Monday the 80m Club Championships has the data leg running from 1900 to 2030UTC. The exchange is the usual signal report and serial number.

On Tuesday it’s the 144MHz UK Activity Contest from 1900 to 2130UTC. The exchange is signal report, serial number and locator.

Next weekend is the CW National Field Day running from 1500UTC on the 6th to 1500UTC on the 7th. Using the 1.8 to 28MHz bands the exchange is signal report and serial number.

The South East Asia Network Contest takes place for 24 hours on the weekend of 6th and 7th of June. If you’re not busy taking part in one of the other contests that weekend, it’s a good opportunity to work stations in CQ zones 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29. Basically that’s a triangle that extends from India in the West to Japan in the North East and Australia in the South East. Using CW and SSB only on the 3.5 to 28MHz bands the exchange is signal report and serial number.

On the same weekend the UK Six Metre Group’s annual Summer Sporadic-E Contest takes place for 24 hours from 1300 to 1300UTC. Although there’s no guarantee of Sporadic-E propagation, the first weekend of June was chosen to coincide with the peak of the season. You don’t need to be a member of UKSMG to participate or enter. The exchange is signal report, serial number, locator and membership number if you have one.

On Sunday 7th the UK Microwave Group are holding another of their Low Band contests, from 1000 to 1600UTC. Using the 1.3, 2.3 and 3.4GHz bands the exchange is signal report, serial number and locator.

A new annual HF Contest is scheduled to take place on the 6th and 7th of June from 1500UTC to 1500UTC. The date and time of this Dutch contest are simultaneous to the IARU CW Field day and the contest exchange is the same, signal report and serial number. Rules are available in English on the www.dkars.nl website, where you can also upload your log via their robot.
