The Worked All Britain datamodes contest also takes place today, 13 April, from 1200 to 2200UTC. This is a new contest and there are separate categories for RTTY and PKS31. Tuesday sees the 1.3GHz UK Activity Contest take place between 1900 and 2130UTC. Using all modes the exchange is signal report, serial number and locator.
On the 18th, it’s the turn of the SSB leg of the 80m Club Championships running from 1900 to 2030UTC. The exchange is signal report and serial number.
April 19 sees the EU Spring Sprint take place from 1600 to 2000UTC on the 3.5 to 14MHz bands. In each Sprint you’ll have to engage in some band hopping, to make the most of changing conditions. Using SSB only, the exchange is both callsigns, serial number and name.
The IRTS 2m Counties contest take place on Easter Monday from 1300 to 1500UTC. Using all modes the exchange is signal report and serial number with EI and GI stations giving their county too.
