David took the Foundation exam via remote invigilation in June 2020.

He said: “I found the whole process very easy to handle. My invigilator, Lawrence, explained everything to me in simple language and made things easy to follow. It was nice to be able to have a chat with him before the exam started as my nerves were setting in.

Having another candidate doing the exam remotely at the same time also helped me as I enjoyed having a chat and a laugh with him before we started. I would have found doing the exam just on my own too formal and nerve-wracking.

Hitting the ‘Finished’ button and getting the message back “Congratulations you have passed” was massive and you can see my joy from the photo!

What would happen next was again explained very well so I knew what I would receive and how to set things up.

I am looking forward to calling my first ‘CQ’ and receiving a reply – very exciting!”
