Swedish heritage radio to transmit

World Heritage Grimeton Radio in Sweden, callsign SAQ, will have a transmission with the Alexanderson alternator on VLF, 17.2kHz, to celebrate World Radio Day on 13 February.

Tuning up from 14.30UTC, a message will be sent at 15.00UTC.

No QSL cards will be given this time and no list of reports will be constructed but they will accept short listener reports by email to info@alexander.n.se

The associated amateur radio station, SK6SAQ, will be active with a special callsign for the day—7S6WRD will be on 7.035 and 14.035MHz using CW and 3.744MHz on SSB.
