We start with clubs that have several events this week.

On Sunday, Bromley and District Amateur Radio Society starts its Foundation course. Tuesday sees short talks from Alan, G0HIQ and Andy, G4WGZ. The club net is on Wednesday from 9pm, starting on 145.500MHz. Contact Andy, G4WGZ, on 01689 878 089.

Surrey Radio Contact Club has a net on 1905kHz from 9.30am today, Thursday, and next Sunday. On Monday there’s a chat-and-fix-it evening with John, G8MNY. Thursday sees a net on 70.300MHz from 8pm and on Friday there’s a net on 145.350MHz from 8pm. Next Sunday there’s a net on 1905kHz from 9.30am. Contact John, G3MCX, on 020 8688 3322.

Loughton and Epping Forest Amateur Radio Society has its net on Thursday from 8pm on 144.725MHz. Next Saturday and Sunday sees GB2RGM on the air on HF and VHF from Royal Gunpowder Mills at Waltham Abbey for Railways on the Air, where there is a narrow gauge railway that was used to transport explosives around the site.
