We start with a request by Selim, M0XTA, who is looking for amateurs who live in Hammersmith or elsewhere in West London to help find a suitable venue for his planned new Hammersmith Amateur Radio Society, M0XHS. Loughton and Epping Forest Amateur Radio Society is still taking registrations for its Foundation training course taking place over the weekend of 16 and 17 September. The course fee of £27.50 includes two days tuition, sitting the Foundation Exam and membership of the club for a year. It takes place at All Saints House in Chigwell Rise Hainault, Essex. LEFARS has its net on Thursday from 8pm on 144.725MHz, and a natter night on Friday. Now for clubs that have several events this week. Coulsdon Amateur Transmitting Society has nets on Sunday and next Sunday at 11am on 145.4MHz ± QRM and 5pm on 3.7MHz ± QRM.
