We start with an appeal for help from a long-time RSGB Member in the Barking area who is a white stick SWL. He uses an Icom R-8500 with a discone and a long wire and needs help checking his antennas. Now for news from clubs that have several events this week. Surrey Radio Contact Club has a club net on 1905kHz from 9.30am today and next Sunday. Thursday sees the club net on 70.300MHz from 8pm. On Friday there’s a net from 8pm on 145.350MHz. Details from John, G8IYS, on 020 8657 0454.

Worthing and District Amateur Radio Club has its 80m net from 7.30am today and next Sunday. The 2m net is on Monday at 7.30pm. On Wednesday there’s a club night and Thursday sees the 40m club net from 11am. Next Sunday sees the regular breakfast meeting from 9am.
