News for Northern Ireland – 4 October 2015

Bushvalley Amateur Radio Club is leading an effort to increase usage of the 2m band in and around Northern Ireland. A new net is being run on Tuesday evenings. Club chairman Jack, MI0JPD acts as net controller, operating from Slieve Gallion at approximately 1800 feet ASL. Contacts so far have made well beyond Northern Ireland and into North Wales, Lincolnshire and Scotland. The net listens on 145.500MHz.
