We start with news from clubs that have several events this week.

Burton Amateur Radio Club has its net on 145.575MHz at 10am this Sunday and next Sunday. There’s a coffee morning on Tuesday at Dunelms cafe. On Wednesday there’s a shack night and Thursday sees a club net on 145.575MHz from 7.30pm. Details from Mike Lewis, M0XMX on 0785 068 5961.

Midland Amateur Radio Society is visiting the Wythall Radio Rally this Sunday, and discussing the visit and purchase on Wednesday, alongside training classes. Details from Norman, G8BHE, on 0780 807 8003.

South Birmingham Radio Society has a stand at the Wythall Rally this Sunday. The trailer gets unloaded on Monday, along with a rally debrief. The regular coffee morning in the shack is from 11am on Tuesday. Thursday sees training classes with Dave Murphy, G8OWL. There is no meeting this Friday. RAF Waddington ARC has its net on Monday from 8pm on 145.325MHz. On Friday there’s a club night. Friday also sees the start of RAF Binbrook special event station GB6BK, which continues until Sunday. Lincoln Short Wave Club is having a talk IRLP, Repeater Use and Data Modes on Wednesday. On Thursday it’s the club net from 8pm on 145.375MHz.
