We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. Worksop Amateur Radio Society has its Young Persons’ Foundation course plus an Advanced course tonight and next Sunday. Coventry Amateur Radio Society has an open net on Monday from 8pm on 145.375MHz and/or 7.16MHz ± QRM. On Friday there’s a discussion evening because the talk by RSGB President John Gould, G3WKL has had to be postponed. Contact John, G8SEQ, on 07958 777 363.

South Birmingham Radio Society is sorting out equipment on Monday for the Wythall rally. The regular coffee morning in the shack is on Tuesday from 11am. Lincoln Short Wave Club is taking part in the UK Club Contests on Tuesday. On Wednesday there are shack activities and G5FZ will be on the air. Thursday sees the club repeater net via GB3LM from 8pm.
