We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. Sutton Coldfield Amateur Radio Society has its 6m open net on 50.135MHz from 8.30pm tonight and next Sunday. Monday sees a club meeting. More information from Robert Bird, by email to spirit.guide@hotmail.co.uk.

Wythall Radio Club has its club net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL is at 8pm tonight and next Sunday. Monday sees a curry night at the Monsoon from 6.30pm. The Tuesday Morse class is at 7.45pm, followed by a visit from Don Field, G3XTT, Editor of Practical Wireless. The regular nibbles night is in the shack from 7.30pm on Friday. Gloucester Amateur Radio and Electronics Society is operating at Crickley Hill on Bank Holiday Monday from 1 to 4pm, and there is a club net later on Monday from 7.30pm on 145.550MHz. The main club net is on Wednesday from 7.30pm on 145.550MHz. Contact Anne, 2E1GKY, on 01242 699 595, daytime.
