We start with clubs that have several events this week. Midland Amateur Radio Society is at the Dunstable Downs Radio car boot sale today at Stockwood Park, Luton. Wednesday sees planning for outside and social events plus training classes. Details from Norman, G8BHE, on 07808 078 003.
Wythall Radio has its club net on 145.225MHz at 8pm tonight and next Sunday. Tuesday sees a Morse class from 7.45 and at 8.30 there’s a talk by Jim, G4AEH entitled from Top Band to Radio 4. On Thursday there’s the 80m Club Championship Contest CW leg from 8pm and Friday sees a nibbles night in the shack from 7.30. Next Saturday and Sunday there’s the CQ WPX World Prefix CW contest. Lincoln Short-Wave Club is holding a committee meeting and taking part in the 1.3GHz UK AC on Tuesday. Wednesday sees a formal meeting.
