We start with news that Lincoln Short Wave Club will be running an Intermediate course in June. Commencing on the 1st, it will continue every Saturday and Sunday throughout the month, culminating with the Intermediate exam on Sunday 30 June. Now for clubs that have several events this week. Lincoln Short-Wave Club is at the Dambusters Rally today from 10am. Tuesday sees the 144MHz UK AC from the shack. There’s a natter night at the BSA Club plus activities at the shack on Wednesday. The club 2m simplex net is on Thursday at 8pm, then there’s surgery and mentoring is in the shack on Saturday from 9am, Next Sunday it’s Mills on the Air, operating GB5EM from Ellis Mill from 9am. Wythall Radio Club has a club net today and next Sunday at 8pm on 145.225MHz. On Monday it’s the 80m Club Championships SSB Contest from 8pm. Tuesday sees the Morse class at 7.45 and the 144MHz UKAC Contest from 8pm. The shack social is on Friday, then on Saturday it’s Mills on the Air Weekend at Avoncroft Museum. Friskney and East Lincolnshire Communications Club is running a club net on Monday on 144.165MHz USB, vertical polarisation. The monthly club meeting is at Friskney village hall at 7.30 on Tuesday.
