We start with news that Keighley RAYNET Group, are giving radio communications for the LDWA Rombald Stride Winter Challenge, which takes place on 3 February. It’s a 23 mile challenge, starting and finishing in Guiseley.

Now for clubs that have several events this week.

Denby Dale Radio Club has its net via GB3HD from 10.30am this Sunday. Wednesday sees a real ale night from 8pm at the Magic Rock Tap, Willow Park Business Centre HD1 5EB. Details from Darran, G0BWB, on 0797 442 3227.

Halifax and District Amateur Radio Society is having a training and digimodes meeting on Tuesday. Wednesday sees an open net on GB3HD from 7.30pm and on Thursday there’s a joint net with RAFARS on 145.350MHz from 7pm. Details from Martin, M0GQB, on 01422 341 317.
