We start with advance notice that Furness Amateur Radio Society is holding a Foundation course weekend on 28 and 29 October. It will take place in Barrow-in-Furness, South Cumbria. Angel of the North Amateur Radio Club is on the air on Monday, when it also starts its Foundation course, continues the Intermediate course, and makes preparations for eDay at the Central Library. Halifax and District Amateur Radio Society has a demonstration of FT8 and a discussion of other digital modes in the WSJT-X suite on Tuesday.
