We start with news that a new club is starting in West Lancashire. The Quantum Technology Club will cover amateur radio, electronics and computers including Raspberry Pi and Arduino, plus technocrafting using things like laser cutters. Meetings will be a mix of informal discussions plus show and tells and invited speakers. The first meeting will be held at Cottage Lane Mission in Ormskirk, starting at 7pm on Thursday, 16 March. Further meetings will normally be held on the first and third Thursday of each month. Stockport Radio Society continues its intermediate course today. On Tuesday there’s a club net starting on 51.550MHz FM at 7.30pm then QSY to 50.270MHz SSB at 8.15pm. Thursday sees a club net from 7.30pm on 145.375MHz. Details from Heather Stanley, M6HNS, on 07506 904 422.
