On Friday 19 April West of Scotland Amateur Radio Society has a talk from Derek Kozel AG6PO on Software Defined Radio. He will demonstrate the use of a £10 USB receiver that covers 24MHz to 1766MHz and compare a variety of software packages capable of decoding a myriad of different voice and data modes.
