RSGB Board Strategy
The strategic aims were approved by the Board at its November 2012 meeting and are available for download from the right hand sidebar.
These strategic aims have provided goals for the Board, HQ and our many volunteers.
Since the 2016 AGM the Board has been reviewing its strategy with volunteer help from Chris Deacon, G4IFX, to help to facilitate this review.
Chris is well-qualified and has appropriate professional experience.
The development process has included a full day’s Board meeting consultation with the Regional Council, Committee Chairs, Honorary Officers and HQ staff.
The 2015 Amateur Radio Survey has also informed the Board’s discussions.
Following some further work to take account of the Leadership Team inputs we believe we now have a final draft and are consulting with our members.
Details of the strategy consultation can be found at rsgb.org/strategyreview.
The plan is to have the new RSGB Strategy ready for launch at the 2017 AGM.
Each year the Board approves an Operational Plan targeted towards the achievement of these goals and a summary of the annual goals for 2016 is available here (5-page/86.9KB PDF).
