Little Horwood, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK17 0PH, 9
To celebrate the formation of the RSGB in 5th July 1913 the Society will be holding a Centenary dinner on the same date in 2013. The dinner will follow the Centenary activity at Bletchley Park on the same day and will be held at the local Horwood House. This should make it easy for those who have attended the Centenary day, to join us for, a fine meal that will one of the highlights of the Centenary year.
This evening is a mix of entertainment, good food, good company and speeches. We will have a guest speaker Prof. Peter Cochrane, OBE, G3RVC who will provide an entertaining view of the future of radio.
The RSGB Centenary dinner is going to be a very special event that combines a celebration of 100 years of the RSGB, the ideal place to be and meet old friends and wile away a memorable evening.
As part of the Centenary Celebrations we intend to recreate one of the Society photographs from our early years. We are therefore asking any diners who wish to participate to adopt black tie or even 1913 dress for the evening. We will then recreate one of these photographs on the front steps of Horwood House. This is purely fun and entirely optional and so the dress code will be lounge suit/day dress if you prefer.
Open to RSGB members and their guests this meal will consist of three courses followed by coffee.
Those attending are asked to join for a group photograph at 7pm
